Okay, so not sure if you all know how Darius Rucker is but he was the lead singer of the group Hootie and the Blowfish. Well he has a new song out on his SOLO album, that is just awesome. It's called "It Won't Be Like This for Long". It's a country song, if you didn't know. I love it! It talks about a dad going through the trials of being a dad of a little girl and how time flies, and there are many phases, but it won't last for long and soon she'll be gone. Meaning she will be out the house and on her own. It made me think about my boys and how they are starting to grow up so fast and how we will just look back and laugh on how hard these past 6 months have been and how in the WORLD did we make it. We did though. We are still going strong! Things have gotten easier, thank goodness, but its still tough. They are both rolling over now and soon will be crawling or walking or pulling up and standing on things. Then it will December and almost Christmas and their 1 year birthday will come the 23rd, then Christmas Eve and then Christmas. This will go on for us and them the rest of their lives. Anyways, back to the song, it really made me stop and reflect on what's going to happen in the future and what has already passed us. A good friend told me who has 2 kids, but not twins, her kids are 21 months apart, said she changed her "attitude" on the whole situation and things became so much better for her. She was struggling and overwhelmed with having 2 kids and she was a SAHM. So I've been trying to have a more positive attitude with my whole situation when it gets hard with them when I am by myself and there is NO ONE there to hold the other one or help me make a bottle or rock one to sleep. There are going to be MANY more times even when they are older when I am there by myself trying to juggle both of them during these first 3-4 years when they are so needy on their parents. I just have to keep telling myself, this will pass, I can do it and if they have to cry a little while I am with the other one, so be it. It won't kill them. I love them to death and they love me the same and I have to be strong and happy for them b/c I am ALL they have, and of course daddy too. Okay enough of being sentimental! :)
Twilight. I am addicted. Is anyone else addicted? To the movie, to the book. I can't wait to read the book as soon as I get home and get those boys to bed. I think about it during work. I know I may be late on the how series thing, but I am doing it now and will finish both books hopefully in 2 weeks. Has anyone else read Twlight books? If you haven't, you should! THey are awesome. The 2nd Twilight comes out 11.20.09 if you didn't know! That's all for now.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Twilight!! Loved the books. Loved the movie. And can't wait for New Moon to come out:) I especially love the guy who plays Edward... YUMMY!!
No, Matt does not read your blog. He doesn't read any blog. Mainly espn.com, typical male:) He just posted those videos the other day because he figured out how, while I have not tried.
Never read Twilight. Maybe I'll try one. All my female friends are addicted and maybe I'm a tad scared of that.
I LOVE this song by Darius Rucker and another favorite is by Trace Adkins, "Your gonna miss this". Of course I am a huge country western fan.
I also love the Twilight series, I even like the movie (even though they missed a few things and I am looking forward to New Moon). I have to admit that Jacob is my favorite character not Edward ( call me weird). I completely understand once you start reading them you just cannot stop!!
